St Ives Farmers Market - Information For Traders

Size of stall: Traders can have a half or full table (the standard size is 6 foot). The tables are provided on site and chairs are also available if required. There is some trading space available outside the venue, but most of the stalls are inside, where there are electric power sockets, toilets and kitchen facilities.

Setting up and dismantling: doors open from 8.30am for traders to set up. Traders may not leave until the official close of the market, in order to prevent ‘empty stall syndrome’.

Loading and Parking: traders can load and unload immediately outside the Backpackers, in the 30-minute short-stay on-street parking bay. If space is tight, the double-yellow lines further up can also be used, where 20 minutes of loading time is permitted. The nearest car park is behind the launderette, just uphill from the venue, although many traders prefer to park in the council’s Park Avenue Car Park, where the charges are cheaper and the clampers are not so trigger-happy!

Cost of Stalls: a six-foot table costs £12 to hire for the day – or £6 for a half-table. There is limited trading space outside at the front, and this costs slightly more.
